There are many ways you can support STAR

Foster a dog (or two), we need both short term and long term fosters, without foster homes we can't save the dogs we do. Only foster homes can help us save more lives!

Volunteer with our organization, volunteering can include helping with transporting, fundraising for us, helping at adoption or fundraising events. Pulling dogs we have been approved to pull from the shelter and taking them to the vet if needed.

Spay & Neuter your pets, with over 5 million healthy, adoptable pets in shelters across the United States being killed yearly, there really is no reason not to spay or neuter your pets. There are all kinds of programs out there that will help offset the cost of altering your pet if cost is a concern. Please, be part of the solution, spay and neuter, lets make America a REAL No-Kill Nation!!

Donations, no donation is too small, whether you can donate $50 or $1 dollar it all adds up and we are always in need of monetary donations. Many of the dogs we save are heartworm positive, treating heartworm is expensive and takes a while. Dogs are in foster care for a longer period if undergoing heartworm treatment.
